LK Metrology CMMs, Advanced Metrology Software

LK Metrology, Inc., will display and demonstrate five different CMMs, including: the New shop floor ready LK ALTERA SF equipped with an SLK25 Laser Scanner; the ALTERA S SCANtec 5 equipped with a Renishaw REVO-2® 5-axis scanning system; the new ALTERA C HA high-accuracy CMM; the ALTO 6x5 Bench Top CMM equipped with a PH20 probe; and finally, a manual ALTO 6.5.5.

LK also will be demonstrating the newest version of their well-known CAMIO measurement, programming simulation, analysis and reporting software. In addition, the new Industry 4 Metrology Gate, LK’s portal for remote inspection monitoring, and the advanced version of TouchDMIS CMM software will also be shown and demonstrated. Other CMM software like Renishaw Modus®, Polyworks®, and CMM Manager® that are frequently used with LK Metrology CMMs will also be available for demonstration.

Renishaw TEMPUS Technology

Renishaw’s new TEMPUS™ technology enables users of RenAM 500 series metal additive manufacturing (AM) systems to reduce build times by up to 50 percent. The technology uses advanced scanning algorithms that sequence the layer data to maximize productivity while maintaining part quality. The optimization suits some part geometries more than others, but all geometries can see some productivity benefits. Parts with thin, vertical features, for example, are likely to experience proportionally higher productivity savings.

TEMPUS technology is standard with the new RenAM 500 Ultra system, as well as advanced process monitoring software. The combination of significantly reduced build times and detailed build insights means that the RenAM 500 Ultra delivers cost-effective, reliable additive manufacturing for metal component production. Existing RenAM 500 series customers can access TEMPUS technology as a paid-for upgrade, to make the most of their machine investment.
