From the novice quality practitioner to those conducting cutting edge research, ASQ offers one-stop shopping for anyone in need of quality information. ASQ’s web site offers a wide variety of information at no cost, while its conferences and course offerings provide valuable learning opportunities for quality professionals. ASQ’s 19 certifications demonstrate an individual’s knowledge and proficiency in a specific body of knowledge related to quality management, process improvement, and other quality related fields. ASQ membership connects one with a vast network of quality professionals through local ASQ sections, technical communities, and online forums like myASQ. Another important piece of ASQ’s offerings is its publishing program.

ASQ’s publishing program is very extensive as it includes Quality Progress magazine, the peer-reviewed Lean & Six Sigma Review magazine, four technical journals (Journal of Quality Technology, Quality Engineering, Quality Management Journal, and Technometrics), and books and standards published by Quality Press. The Quality Press catalog includes more than 200 titles available in both print and ebook formats. In total, ASQ sells more than 30,000 books annually!

All ASQ publications are peer reviewed and have an editorial review board of subject matter experts who vet and improve the content. Quality Press, specifically, recently relaunched its Quality Press Peer Review Committee which has been actively defining the topics and books to fuel the future publishing pipeline.

Quality Progress magazine has been the flagship publication for ASQ since 1968. It is a monthly magazine that serves as a leading source of information on quality principles, tools, and techniques.
