Metrology Corner in Shanghai

The 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), held in the vibrant and historic city of Shanghai, brought together some of the world’s most respected professionals and thought leaders in quality and metrology. As the world’s first import-themed, national-level exhibition, CIIE 2024 hosted approximately 3,500 global exhibitors from 129 countries and regions, making it a hallmark event in the international trade landscape.
A unique opportunity emerged: an invitation as keynote speaker at International Quality Innovation Forum on November 8th. As professor for the Quality Assurance program at California State University Dominguez Hills, and member of International Accreditation Service (IAS), Technical Advisory Council, my presentation “AI Transformation in Quality and Metrology” reflected the two symbiotic components, quality and metrology, present in any industry operation.
The logistics and arrangements for the keynote speaker were meticulously managed, ensuring seamless transportation, accommodation, and on-site support, by Mrs. Jiamei Wang, quality manager.
The presentation was well received as 200 attendees gathered in person and over 50,000 joined online to engage in critical conversations around quality, innovation, and the future of international standards.
